With a population of over 236,000 and an area 31 miles long and 11 miles wide is divided into four areas.
Old Town (Downtown area) - Known for it's old fashioned stores, western bars & modern nightclubs, restaurants, art galleries, cultural district, and world renowned shopping. Modern condo's and lofts downtown let you live close to the action.
Central (Shea Corridor) - A large portion along Scottsdale road has been dubbed the "Resort Corridor" because of the high number of resorts. The Shea Corridor also has some of the most highly desired residential communities in the city, including Gainey Ranch & McCormick Ranch.
North Scottsdale - Currently the most actively developed residential area of the city due to being the least built up. This area has some of the largest & most expensive homes in Arizona, and with higher elevations many homes have views of the city and valley.
South Scottsdale - For many years known as the "working class region" South Scottsdale has a mix of homes with old time charm, and modern rebuilds.
